CleverCleaner can save you work and time, and it creates lot of free space on your hard disk. You sometimes don't know that little files and huge temporary directories (downloads and so on)are filling up your disk. The CleverCleaner locates these files and deletes them. This way you get very much free space very fast. The method: The program searches the hard disk for the endings of the files like *.tmp *, *~.* or *.chk and deletes them. That's very useful if you download or copy much of data. On a test machine, we (the developers) got over 800 megabytes (!) of free memory. But the cleaning of the hard drive is only worth it once a month. The CleverCleaner is easy to run, in the options you can add or delete file endings. That is useful if you don't want to delete all the *.bak-files for example. And don't panic about important system data: They're listed in the exceptions below, an thus they're safe. There you can add and delete, too. In the status bar is a little help built in. Because of all this options, the CleverCleaner is a flexible, free customisable and useful tool.
